1944 – 2003
NORTH JAY – Dennis A. Tyler Sr., 58, of North Jay, died early Monday morning at his home of natural causes.
He was born Dec. 27, 1944, in Farmington, the son of Alfred and Mildred Welch Tyler. He received his education in Wilton and Jay schools and on May 17, 1969 in Livermore Falls, married Betty Mitchell who survives him of North Jay.
He is also survived by one son, Dennis Tyler II and his wife Judith of Farmington; one daughter, Kelly Proctor and her husband Mayland of Sidney; three sisters, Edna Tyler Rose of Peru, Myrna Harris and her husband Everett of Wilton, and Doreen Mitchell and her husband Duane of North Jay; one granddaughter, Chelsea Smith; and four step-grandchildren, Chasity Sidelinger, Manny Proctor, Katherine White and Karen White.
He was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Tyler.
