RUMFORD – The Rumford area Tres Dias will hold a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Rumford United Methodist Church. Jim Arsenault will lead the singalong and discussion. The Church Belles will sing, and the theme for the evening will be the last words of Christ as he spoke to his disciples.

Free concert

MEXICO – The Greater River Valley Heavy Lumber Free Concert will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Mexico Recreation Park, Route 17.

Groups the likes of Crosswinds Ministries, FBCM T.E.A.M.! and EXALT! will offer selections of vocals and instumentals to appeal to a variety of tastes.

The snack bar will be open for business or bring picnic supplies.
