KEENE, N.H. – Wendy Pelletier Ganio has been named executive producer of Center State Cheshire County, hosts of the annual Keene Pumpkin Festival. Ganio has served on the board for three years.
She is a native of Auburn, graduating from Edward Little High School with the class of 1982. She is also a graduate of Vermont Technical College in the civil engineering program. She is an accomplished artist and seamstress. Daughter of Raymond and Barbara Sanderson Pelletier of Auburn, she lives in Keene with her husband, David, and two children, Maria and Gregory.
Center State is a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing family-oriented events in Keene. They also produce the tree-lighting ceremony and the New Year’s Eve celebration. The Pumpkin Festival, started in 1991, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25, in downtown Keene. They are hoping to break their world record of 23,727 lighted pumpkins. Their goal this year is 25,000.
