GRAY – Walter L. Foster, 80, passed away Oct. 4, 2003 at his home in Gray.

He was born in Concord, Mass. on Nov. 1, 1922.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bartlett-Foster; two daughters, Sheryl Griffin and her husband, Ken, of New Gloucester, Debra Chase and her husband, Richard, of Gray; one son, Alan Foster of Fla.; seven grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one son, Dwight Madden.
