Singers sought

PARIS – The Hills Alive Chorale is seeking singers for its Christmas program “A Salute to Christmas in Our Town.” Director is Dan Allen. Allen is encourages people to join this chorale. Auditions aren’t required.

Rehearsals will be held at 6:45 p.m. Mondays tentatively through Oct. 27, at the South Paris Congregational Church.

Inventory time

BUCKFIELD – The Historical Society will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Town Hall’s history room.

Members will be taking inventory of glass negatives and identifying those to send to adjoining towns’ historical groups. A potluck lunch will be served. The public is welcome.
