CHESTERVILLE – Deputies are investigating a burglary at a camp on Norton Road.
A forced entry was made into the camp sometime in September and was reported Friday, Franklin County Sheriff’s Cpl. Stephen Charles said.
Several household items were reported stolen, Lt. Niles Yeaton said.
Charles and county detectives Tom White and David St. Laurent are investigating a spree of burglaries in Franklin County that have occurred within the last month to six weeks, Charles said.
Deputies are investigating to see if the burglaries, including the one on Norton Road are connected, Charles said.
Burglaries being investigated by county and local police include ones in Weld, Strong and Jay.
Charles said there are some leads in the Norton Road case.
