NEW SHARON – A New Sharon man faces a drug furnishing charge for allegedly sharing marijuana with another person.
County Cpl. Stephen Charles charged Cea J. Pitcher, 19, with furnishing the schedule Z drug marijuana. Charles said he was traveling on Ridge Road looking for a vehicle and went back to check on two men when dispatch alerted him that a Farmington police officer was looking for Pitcher.
Charles charged Pitcher with the misdemeanor after he allegedly admitted sharing the drug with a teenager who claimed to be sick after smoking it, Charles said. Pitcher’s court arraignment date is Dec. 4.
