1912 – 2003

NORWAY – Leo Chester Chase, 91, of South Paris died Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Harmony on Oct. 6, 1912, the son of Leo G. and Ethel Fuller Chase. He attended schools in Rockland and had been a self-employed craftsman for many years.

He faithfully served his country in the United States Army Air Force for 18 years, including World War II.

He married Anna Florence Weeks in 1942 and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife of South Paris; a son, Nathan D. of Naples; a daughter, Athena Miller of Wilton, Calif.; and four grandchildren, Aaron and Brandon Chase, both of Naples, and Hayley and Chloe Miller, both of Wilton, Calif.
