1940-2003

LEWISTON – Ida R. Richardson, 63, of 81 Mechanic Falls Road in Poland, died Friday evening at Central Maine Medical Center,with family and friends by her side. She was born in Lewiston, April 2, 1940, the daughter of Grover and Minnie Greenlaw Lee

She graduated from Edward Little High School and for 30 years has lived in and worked for the Town of Poland as a bus driver. She loved children, and had five of her own. She enjoyed painting and art in general, tennis, bingo, dancing and walks on the beach. The people in her life are what gave her the greatest joy. She found the best in everyone she met.

She is now in heaven with her great grandson Dylan who passed away in April.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Harry; five children, Cindy Richardson of Mechanic Falls, Kelly Davis of Lewiston, Harry Jr. of Oxford, Rodney of Leeds and Shawn of Auburn; two sisters, Winnifred Frost of Smithville, Canada, and Shirley Anderson of Oxford; six grandchildren, Carrie, Angel, Courtney, Rodney Jr., Kyle and Faith. She will live in our hearts forever.

Richardson,63 of Poland.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2pm at the Weston-Chandler Funeral Home,26 West Dwinal Street,Mechanic Falls with interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.Family and friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening 6-8pm.
