BRUNSWICK – The Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance will sponsor a workshop on publishing options from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 18.

Peter E. Randall and Deidre Randall will conduct a workshop titled Publishing Options: Getting Your Book into Print. The workshop guidelines can be found on the company Web site at http://www.perpublisher.com/PublishingOptions.pdf.

The Randalls will compare and contrast five publishing options: trade publisher, on-demand press, vanity press, subsidy or custom publisher, and self-publishing. The workshop covers all aspects of the publishing process: book design, publishing costs, marketing, distribution, and sales.
