The movie I chose to review was the Lord of the Rings the Two Towers. My family has this movie for DVD and we watched it last week.

All the books in the Lord of the Rings series are over four hundred pages long. That makes; a very long movie. If they put every detail in, they would make it probably over four hours long, so they left some things out. Even so, they got the points of the movie across.

The special effects in the movie were outstanding! In Fangom Forest they did a good job with the Ent, Treebeard. I do think that when he brought them to the Entmoot (Ent Council) he didn’t really explain it and left the viewer wondering. That can be a good thing in some cases though.

Another good part for special effects is Helms Deep. It was a huge battle, but they made a good action packed scene. They didn’t even break a stunt sword!

When everyone was walking to Helms Deep they put action into a scene that didn’t really affect the story.

All the characters were just as J.R.R. Tolkien described them too.

Over all it was one of the best movies I have seen.
