1945 – 2003
WATERVILLE – Pauline C. Giasson, 57, formerly of Auburn went home to be with her lord, Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Mount Saint Joseph’s Nursing Home.
She was born in South Paris Dec. 29, 1945, a daughter of Leo and Carmen LaRochelle. She attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School. For many years she served as a Nun with the Sisters of Saint Joseph’s in Lewiston.
She was a very dedicated mother, she enjoyed reading, writing and drawing. One of her favorite activities was attending daily mass and the local prayer groups. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed all of the time spent with them, especially her grandson, Austin Craig.
She is survived by one daughter, Karin Craig and husband Tom of Lewiston; two stepsons, Derek Giasson and fiancée, Angela Drake of Lewiston, Scott Giasson and wife Lynn of Gardiner; one grandson, Austin Craig of Lewiston; close friends and family members, Bill Giasson, Lucienne Giasson, Jacquie and David Fuller, Michel and Toby Giasson and Christine Boisvert; stepmom, Georgette LaRoshelle; three stepsisters; and one stepbrother.
She was predeceased by one brother, Ronald LaRochelle; and her parents.
