WINTHROP – The public is invited when Winthrop Grange 209 meets Tuesday, Oct. 21, at the Grange Hall, Old Lewiston Road.

The hall is handicapped accessible.

Following potluck refreshments at 6:45 p.m., chaired by Sue Jacobs, there will be an agricultural program at 7:30 p.m. Ralph Caldwell of Turner, a member of the Governor’s Task Force on Milk Prices, will speak.

At the business meeting, which concludes the evening, State Deputy Vernon Dunn of Belgrade will present the obligation ceremony for one new member.

Auxiliary session

LEWISTON – American Legion Post 22 Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at the Multi-Purpose Center. Members will discuss the Christmas party and membership dues. For more information, call Toni Blouin at 782-2575 or Clara Glendenning at 782-1851.

Swim lessons
