1924 – 2003
LEWISTON – Henriette M. Morin, 79, of 10 Oak St., Lewiston, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 19, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Born in Lewiston, May 29, 1924, the daughter of Israel and Roseanna (Cloutier) Charest, she was educated in Lewiston schools.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church. She had worked in local mills and shoe shops and as a waitress prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Morin was a member of the Lewiston Senior Citizens, Horizon 55 and Covenant 50.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Muriel and Alfred LeClerc of Auburn and Irene and Dennis Michaud of Dracut, Mass.; four grandchildren, Christopher (and Rebecca) Carpentier of Houston, Texas, Jeffrey Jalbert of Lewiston and Rachel and Thomas Michaud of Dracut, Mass.; one great-grandson, Joshua Carpentier of Houston; two sisters, Alexina (Cecile) Roy and Pauline Pinette of Lewiston; two brothers, Roger (and Therese) Charest of Lewiston and Arthur Charest of Auburn; and two sisters-in-law, Henrietta Charest of Lewiston and Irene DePietro of Auburn.
Mrs. Morin was predeceased earlier this year by one brother, Robert Charest.
