Dear Sun Spots: I am trying to find out in the Lewiston-Auburn areas where, when and what times for people to get their flu shots.

Some doctor’s offices are not giving shots because of federal reasons, or so I have been told. They want people to get shots but they also have to inform the public. A list of places would be great. Hope you can help me as I have called different places and they are not having them this year. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. – L. Campbell, Lisbon.

Dear Sun Spots: Many years ago, I used what was called Shaklee products of various kinds. I can find none of these products in the area towns of Rumford. I am writing to ask you for the nearest dealers or seller of such products or an address where I can order them once again. – S.H.M., Rumford.

Answer:
Contact Norm McGraw at (207) 783-8196. In addition, perhaps readers out there familiar with this product would be willing to provide you with a contact in your area.

Dear Sun Spots: You have helped me before and I hope you can help me again.

On Feb. 23, I ordered 10 pairs of diabetic socks from Clear Point Direct. I sent a check. When I received the socks, they didn’t fit so I returned them the same day. I’ve written twice but no answer. Please try and get my money back. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
According to www.ripoffreport.com, Clear Point Direct and J.D. Marvel have the same shipping address. Sun Spots has received several inquiries into orders not received and checks cashed and items on back order in the case of J.D. Marvel.

However, in your case, Sun Spots spoke with Rosemary at Clear Point Direct (P.O. Box 3508, Champlain, NY 12919, (888) 840-9999, e-mail info@clearpointdirect.com) who says a check made out to yourself at the address you provided and for $49 was cashed, and you may want to check your records to confirm this.

Dear Sun Spots: Please list clothing consignment shops for men and women in the Lewiston-Auburn area. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
The only ones Sun Spots has been able to locate are in Norway, Brunswick or Augusta. Perhaps there are readers out there who may know of some in your area and would be willing to share them with you and Sun Spots.
