Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for an address for Gail Morgado clothes. They were sold at the Country Store in Brunswick, which is now closed and its Web site is also closed. Please advise. Thanks. – B.S., Auburn.

Answer:
Sun Spots was unable to contact the former owner of the store you refer to. However, she did speak with Teddy Candler, wife of Larry Candler who’s the manufacturing representative for Gail Morgado, who is based in Manhattan. Candler, who assists her husband’s business, says they are in the process of supplying more stores in the New England area. In the meantime, she says you may want to contact the following shops who carry this line of day-into-evening knit ensemble wear, which can be crushed into a ball and never wrinkle:

Dresses Unlimited, 77 Main St., Plymouth, NH 03264, (603) 536-3066.

Taylor Shop, 25 Barnard St., Andover, MA 01810, (978) 474-0070.

Purple Plume, 35 Church St., Lennox, MA 01240, (413) 637-3442.

Deni’s Closet, 767 Main Road, Unit 6, Westport, MA 02799, (508) 636-0063.

Candler also says you can contact Larry for more information, although he will be at fashion shows for most of October. You can reach him at 209 West 38th St., Suite 1105, New York, NY 10018, (212) 819-9190.

Dear Sun Spots: A craft fair and food sale will be held at West Paris Grange Hall on Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tables are $5 each. Please call (207) 674-3872 or (207) 674-2147. – Linona Blake, West Paris.
