LEWISTON – Therese E. Provencher, 69, of 244 Stevens Mills, Park 2, Auburn died Saturday, Oct. 25, at Russell Park Manor.

Born in Lewiston Jan. 15, 1934, a daughter of Wilfred and Yvonne Bissonnette Veilleux, she was educated in Lewiston schools. She worked as an assembler at General Electric Co. in Auburn prior to her retirement in 1990.

Mrs. Provencher was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish. A caring person she loved spending time with her family and reaching out to others. She enjoyed playing softball and bowling.

She is survived by her husband, Reginald R. Provencher of Auburn, whom she married Sept. 3, 1955; a daughter, Diane Moseley and husband Robert of Md.; two sons, Ron and wife Jody of Pa., Gerry and wife Keta of Auburn; nine grandchildren, Emily, Anna, John, Stephen, Zachary, Jenna, Richard, Rachel and Russell.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Lionel Veilleux.
