AUBURN – The city of Auburn and the Auburn Business Association are seeking participants for the Santa’s Arrival parade on Saturday, Nov. 29.
Each year the parade escorts Santa to Downtown Auburn where children are eagerly waiting. “The parade is always the highlight of the evening as the children anticipate Santa’s arrival,” said Laurie Smith, Auburn’s community relation’s manager. “This year we want to expand the parade and make it a real community project.”
The parade will begin in New Auburn and wind its way down Main Street to Festival Plaza, with Santa’s arrival scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
Business owners, schools, bands, neighborhood groups and individuals are encouraged to join the parade with a float or marching unit of their own.
To find out more information about the parade and how a group can participate, call Laurie Smith at Auburn City Hall at 786-2421 or e-mail her at [email protected].
