1953 – 2003

LEWISTON – Mary F. Gibbs, 50, of Hillview Estates, Turner, formerly of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 26, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Gardiner on Oct. 19, 1953, the daughter of Roger and Rowena (Small) Gibbs. She attended Richmond schools, graduating in the class of 1973.

She was an avid country music fan and, in her earlier years, a very knowledgeable Red Sox fan.

She is survived by her parents; longtime live-in companion, Tim Moody of Turner; brothers, Roger Gibbs and his wife, Denise, Peter Gibbs and his companion, Nancy Fortin; sister, Georgia Hamlin of West Gardiner and her husband, Orris; aunt, Gloria Houdelette of Richmond; uncles, Dale Small of Richmond, Carroll of Richmond, Robert Gibbs of Florida and George Stewart of Florida; nieces and nephews, Donald and Jeffrey Hamlin, Joshua, India, and Gregory Gibbs; and many cousins.
