AUBURN – Paychex Inc., a leading U.S. provider of payroll and human resource services with an office on Merrow Road, has partnered with WiseGuides Inc., an international provider of online continuing education for licensed accounting professionals. It will offer certified public accountants and other accounting professionals online Continuing Professional Education self-study seminars. Through this partnership, accountants can take a free, one-credit CPE seminar each month made available through the accounting professionals section of Paychex’s Web site, www.paychex.com.

The topic of the free, online CPE seminar will change each month.

Additional seminars are available at a reduced cost through Paychex. WiseGuides offers 240 hours of CPE. Seminars range from one hour to eight hours each and can be taken 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Course materials can also be downloaded, printed and completed off-line. Course topics include taxation, accounting and auditing, practice management, professional development, and specialized knowledge.

Upon achieving a minimum passing score, course completion certificates are sent to accountants via e-mail.
