DIXFIELD – Buying a school bus for the 2004-05 budget year is one of several items on the 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 meeting agenda of SAD 21’s School Board.

Other items at the meeting in Dirigo High School’s cafeteria include:

• Sonya Janke’s presentation of the memory book for T.W. Kelly Dirigo Middle School students.

• Leslie Skibitsky’s presentation on weighted grades.

• Action to approve a Honeywell service agreement.

• Superintendent Thomas Ward’s reports on a revised budget timeline, capital improvements with Chris Hebert and Kenny Robbins, the Annual Yearly Progress report, and a power outage.

• Reports on School Dropout and Failure Prevention policies.

• Reviews of the following policies: Student Code of Conduct (first reading); Admission of Homeless Students (revision); Weapons, Violence and School Safety (revisions); and Student Educational Records (revisions).

Additionally, an awareness presentation on Dirigo High School’s Red Ribbon/After Hours Activity and the secondary school’s National Honor Society are slated. The Red Ribbon/After Hours Activity is tied in with the Title IV Drug Free/Safe Schools Grant.
