1976 – 2003

LEWISTON – Kristine A. Martin, 27, of 126 Wiley Road, Greene, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Central Maine Medical Center from injuries sustained when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

Born in Lewiston on April 15, 1976, she was the daughter of Lewis C. Martin and Linda Bennett Martin. Kristine worked part-time for the John F. Murphy Homes, and was attending Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion.

She was a very kind and compassionate person, often putting her needs aside in order to help others. She enjoyed lighthouses and spending time with family and friends, but most of all she enjoyed life. She was a wonderful and dedicated mother of two boys, Tyler L. Martin and Reese L. Martin, who will miss her very much.

Besides her children, she is survived by: her mother, Linda M. Martin of Auburn; her father and stepmother, Lewis and Sandra Martin of Leeds; a brother, Thomas and wife, Sasha Martin, of Lewiston; and two stepbrothers, Vincent and wife, Emmy Cologna, of Winthrop, and Emil Cologna of Florida. Also surviving are: aunt and uncles, Donna and Donald Jacobs of Greene, Rosemary and Frank Hogdon of Buckfield, Ronald Bennett of Boston, Danny Martin of Buckfield and Becky Martin of Buckfield, cousins Tadd Jacobs and wife, Jen, and Jason Jacobs and wife, Crystal, and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
