LEWISTON – Lewiston Senior Citizens will sponsor a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 6 and 7, at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Besides the crafters who have rented tables, the fair will include Flo’s Cafe, a white elephant table and a Thanksgiving raffle.
Country fair
FREEPORT – St. Jude’s Church Country Christmas Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7 and 8, and 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 9, at 134 Main St.
The event will include crafts, country store, trim a tree items, woodworking, religious items, children’s area and silent auction.
A fish chowder lunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Santa will visit at noon Saturday. A raffle drawing will take place at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
Teddy Bear Fair
LEWISTON – A Teddy Bear Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Lewiston High School cafeteria. There will be holiday crafts, food and raffles. Call Debbie Dodge at 375-8917 for details.
Harvest fair
LEWISTON – The “Great Harvest Fair” will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Knights of Columbus Council 106 Hall, 150 East Ave. The KC Auxiliary is sponsoring the event. There will be raffles, baked goods, candy, crafts, knit goods, books, a white elephant table, jewelry and games of chance. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
Lamplighter event
MECHANIC FALLS – A Lamplighter Holiday Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the First Congregational Church. It will offer crafts, fleece wear, candy, baked goods, pies, wreaths, white elephant items, a raffle and silent auction. There will be steamed hot dogs and American chop suey to eat in or take out.
Fall festival
WINTHROP – The East Winthrop Baptist Church will sponsor its annual Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the church. It will include homecooked food, candy, crafts, books, an indoor yard sale and pony rides. The snack bar will offer lobster seafood rolls, hot dogs, chili and homemade apple pie. Inspirational music will be offered in the sanctuary.
Church fair
LEWISTON – A Christmas fair will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at St. Joseph’s Church, 393 Main St. It will feature crafts, baked goods, costume jewelry, raffle items, knitted items, potted plants, white elephant articles and baskets.
Folkcraft fair
FREEPORT- A Fall Folkcraft Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Merriconeag Waldorf School, 57 Desert Road. The fair will include crafts, handmade toys, food, live music, children’s crafts and games and a puppet show.
Yule Fest
MONMOUTH – A Yuletide Fest will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the United Church of Monmouth. There will be arts and crafts, Christmas decorations, wood crafts and food. A noon lunch will include lobster rolls, hot dogs and vegetable beef stew, dessert and beverage.
Club event
WINDHAM – The Windham Athletic Boosters Club will sponsor its annual holiday craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Windham Middle School, Route 202. There will be more than 80 crafters, refreshments and door prizes.
PTA fair
POLAND – The Poland Community School PTA will hold its 21st annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the school. Admission is free. It will include craft tables, raffles and lunch.
Church fair
AUBURN – The Danville Union Church Fellowship will hold its annual holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the church. A lunch will be served and there will be crafts, flea market and food.
Craft fair
GRAY – A craft fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Gray American Legion Post, 15 Lewiston Road. It is sponsored by Cabane 1003, Lafemmes, for a nurses scholarship. There will be fish chowder, sandwiches and hot dogs for lunch.
Craftsmen
AUGUSTA – United Maine Craftsmen will hold its 22nd annual Early Bird Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Augusta Civic Center. Admission will be $2 for adults; under 12, free.
Christmas crafts
PORTLAND – The 10th annual Christmas Crafts Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 and 9, at the Stevens Avenue Armory, 772 Stevens Ave.
