1922 – 2003
Lewiston – Yvette L. Gove, 81, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston on Feb. 25, 1922, she was the daughter of Albert and Laura Dumont Labbe. She was educated in local schools.
She married Ronald C. Gove in 1960. He predeceased her in 1990.
Prior to her retirement Mrs. Gove was employed by Bates Manufacturing Company.
She and her husband enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping.
She is survived by two stepdaughters, Virginia Bishop and her husband Howard of Portland, and Sheila Donohue and her husband Edwin of Brooksville, Fla.; five step-grandsons; six step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Ouellette and her husband Maurice, Lorette Simoneau, all of Brunswick, and Lillian Bonneau of Connecticut; and one brother, Martin Labbe of South Paris.
