Dear Sun Spots: Healthy Families Androscoggin, a program of Advocates for Children, is in need of baby quilts or polar fleece blankets.

Healthy Families is a home visiting program for first-time parents that live in Androscoggin County. It provides support from a certified parent educator, along with age-appropriate curriculum for children from birth through 5 years old. We serve approximately 75 to 100 new families each year. The quilts and blankets are given to each new family that joins the program.

Answer: According to their customer service department, as of Oct. 21 that order had not yet shipped. You should contact them by phone and let them know whether you still want your slippers or if you would like a refund. They said they would be happy to “prioritize” your request.
