1944 – 2003

LEWISTON – Shirley Ann Winchenbach, 59, of Lisbon, died on Nov. 6, at CMMC, after a three-year courageous battle with cancer. Her loving family surrounded her.

She was born in Woburn, Mass., on July 24, 1944, the daughter of Philip and Marion (Lilley) Dudley.

She graduated from Stoneham High School in 1962. She then attended Tewksbury Nursing School in Massachusetts, receiving her L.P.N. degree. Later she attended Mid-State College.

She worked for L/A Internal Medicine, Auburn, from 1996 till 2002. She enjoyed kayaking, camping, gardening and was a sulky driver.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Steven Winchenbach, whom she married in 1999; her father, Philip of Lisbon; sister, Jean McVey and husband, Fred of New Hampshire; brothers, Lee Dudley of Old Orchard Beach and Paul Dudley and wife, Patti of Carbondale, Col.; and several nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her mother, Marion Dudley; stepmother, Aileen Dudley; and cousins, Jackie McPartland and Hughie Hamill.
