I have read “Poor Taste,” the letter written by Germaine Blanchette (Oct. 28). I feel the same way she does.
In the process of pre-planning our funeral, the director listed an obituary fee of $200. I was appalled.
What a shame that the people who have purchased the Sun Journal all their life, giving you and your employees the opportunity to make a good living, must now pay for you to list their passing on.
Seems to me that this could be the one thing that could be done in appreciation of their business and in respect to the loved ones who remain.
