LEWISTON – Beacon Hospice and Palliative Care has established its office at 55 Lisbon St., suite 2600. Founded in 1993, it originally began serving patients in the metropolitan Boston area. Since that time, Beacon has expanded its services to an additional eight locations throughout New England, including Portland and Lewiston. The primary focus of Beacon Hospice is providing palliative care, in a facility or home setting, as directed by the patient, while lending support to the patient’s family and friends.

Secondarily, Beacon Hospice is committed to the education of the community with regard to the Medicare/Medicaid benefit within the state.
