LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club recently inducted two members. Following an orientation program conducted by club President-Elect Jan Barrett, President Paul Lacombe held a brief induction ceremony to introduce and welcome Arthur Auger and Tom Powell.

Auger is vice president of corporate marketing at the Twin City Times. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Houghton College, Houghton, N.Y. Auger resides in Auburn and is a member of the East Auburn Community Unit and St. Philip’s Church.

Powell is general manager of Webber Energy Fuel-Auburn. He attended Gray-New Gloucester High School and Central Maine Community College. Webber resides in Poland with his wife, Cindy, and is a member of the Pine Tree Trail Riders Association and the Salvation Army Advisory Committee.

New members are selected from among the Lewiston-Auburn business community for their demonstrated interest and involvement in the betterment of communities and for expressing a desire to broaden their contributions to the betterment of mankind throughout the world through the programs and services offered by Rotary International.
