NORWAY – The annual Veterans Day parade will begin at 9:30 a.m Tuesday.

The marchers will start at the main driveway of the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, off Route 26, and head toward Norway.

The parade will proceed down Route 26 and continue straight onto Paris Street. It will end at the Veterans Memorial Site across from the American Legion Post 82 on Main Street.

After marching, the high school band will play “God Bless America” and buglers will play “Taps” at the memorial.

A Veterans Day address will be presented by American Legion Post 82 Commander David Tilley, and a salute by Firing Squad Company C, 262nd Engineering Battalion of the National Guard will be presented.

After the holiday service, coffee and doughnuts will be served by the Post 82 Auxiliary.
