Bentley Rathbun’s job title is district humane agent for animal welfare through the state Department of Agriculture. His title was incorrectly reported in a story on A1 Tuesday.

The photo that accompanied the story was taken last month. The story stated that local horse owners had asserted that one horse was standing in feces a foot high. But Rathbun said it was not true and that much of the area was composed of sand pack and bedding. The information was incorrectly reported.
