WILTON – The Wilton Early Childhood Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a party at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Academy Hill School cafeteria. Everyone is welcome to attend the celebration.

Entertainment will be provided by Rich Raymond, who performs magic and balloon sculpting, and Bob Underwood, who will provide music for the children with his bagpipes. A cake walk and luncheon will also be held and will be followed by birthday cake for all.

The lunch includes hot dogs for $1 or homemade soups, chowders and chili for $3.50. All proceeds will benefit the center’s programs.

The Wilton Early Childhood Center started a play group with seven families in 1993. Today, it offers play groups, preschool, prekindergarten and Fab Five programs to more than 50 families. SAD 9 provides two rooms at the Academy Hill School, and serves as the group’s fiscal agent. The families and staff raise funds to earn all the money for salaries, supplies and equipment. There is no charge to participate if an adult helps in the classroom once a week.
