John Paradis was thrown from his Geo Metro and killed.
An Auburn man died Saturday morning after he was thrown from the vehicle he was driving on Langdon Road in Richmond.
Police said 20-year-old John Paradis was driving a Geo Metro that flipped about 2:20 a.m. near the interstate overpass with four passengers in the car.
The passengers – four teenagers from Sabattus and Litchfield – suffered less serious injuries in the crash. One of them was able to make his way to a nearby home to report the crash, police said.
Paradis was thrown from the vehicle and suffered multiple injuries when the car overturned, police said. He was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston where he died.
Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s officials were investigating the crash. The cause had not been determined.
