RANGELEY – The Women’s Fellowship Group of Rangeley Congregational Church will hold their annual Holly Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at The Barn on High Street. There will be tables of dried arrangements, holiday crafts, items made by the men, snowmen, angels, foods, Santa’s seconds, a cookie walk and an ample supply of reindeer dust requested by Santa.

Once again the senior class of Rangeley Regional High School will offer a luncheon to be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Profits from their culinary efforts go to funding the many needs of the senior class.

Community lunch

FARMINGTON – A Thanksgiving dinner will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church. This is the November community luncheon that is offered free of charge by the church. All are welcome.

The menu for this meal includes turkey, stuffing, squash, potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls, and homemade pumpkin or apple pie. For more information, call the church at 778-2163 or Dot Bryant at 778-4608.

Camp fund-raiser

LIVERMORE FALLS – Fitness Stylz will launch the addition of a high energy workout called Body Pump and hold a fund-raiser for Camp Sunshine from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at their facility located in Center Plaza, behind Family Dollar. Fitness Stylz will host a free club-wide open house and Wellness Fair with free classes throughout the day.

JAY – The Jay PTO Fall Family Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Jay Elementary School. All proceeds from the fair go to the PTO’s annual Christmas project where they adopt several area families. This year there are 37 children on the list.

There will be refreshments, raffles, raffle gift baskets, used books for sale, games for the kids, a cake walk, hair braiding, face painting and exhibits by area organizations. This year, Kocheese the Clown will perform at noon.

Cancer benefit

FARMINGTON – Tickets are currently being sold for a benefit dance to be held from 8 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Nov. 29, at Farmington Elks Lodge on School Street in West Farmington. Proceeds from the dance featuring Borderline Express will benefit the Maine children’s cancer program. There will also be snacks, raffles and door prizes. Members and guests are welcome. Tickets will not be sold at the door. The price is $8 for single, and $15 per couple. To purchase tickets, please contact the lodge at 778-6761.

Blood drive

WILTON – The American Red Cross bloodmobile will visit the Wilton area from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

“We are strongly encouraging donors to attend,” says Thomas Miller. “Giving blood now will help get us through the tough times.”

Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, in generally good health and must weigh at least 110 pounds. All presenting donors will receive a T-shirt. For more information or an appointment, contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-482-0743.
