Incidents

• Nov. 13, 9:30 a.m.: Edith Palmer of Pine Street in Andover reported a hit and run involving her 1999 Toyota Corolla. Palmer said that after she had returned home from running errands in Bethel and Newry, she discovered her car’s left front fender had been dented and scratched. It was unknown where and when the incident occurred.

• Nov. 12, 11:55 a.m.: The windshield of a Bethel police cruiser traveling west on the North Road was apparently dinged by a rock kicked up by a cement truck traveling east. Officer Charles Taylor, who was out on routine patrol, was unable to catch up to the truck.

Arrests

• Dennis Walley, 38, of McKrillis Brook Road, Bethel, on charges of operating after suspension and carrying a concealed weapon, on Nov. 9. However, after police learned Walley has a valid Maine weapons permit, his confiscated 9 mm pistol was returned at 9:09 a.m. Nov. 10.
