NORWAY – Songwriter-composer Heather Pierson will present an evening of her original music at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at Fare Share Commons, 447 Main St.

Pierson is the owner of new age record label Vessel Recordings and is known for new age musical styling. Her latest CD, “Between Lives,” is a collaboration with percussionist Alfred Lund, who will join her on stage Friday.

Their CD features songs that combine rich, melodic keyboards with world beat percussion.

Her previous release, “We All Have A Song,” is a collection of Native American-style drum and vocal chants. She will present her signature neo-classical piano compositions that appear on her first release, “Onward & Upward.”

Tickets are available at the door for $7. Children under 12 admitted free.

Pierson is also musical director of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Norway, and host of that church’s Coffeehouse open mic nights the last Friday evenings of each month. For more information call 935-4505.
