In defense of Danielle Taylor for expressing her honest opinion about diversity in a letter to the editor (Oct. 24). Homosexuality grosses me out too. I applaud her for being forthright.

How does it go? “Out of the mouths of babes.” Nothing but a true and innocent expression of concern. Thank you, I wouldn’t want it any other way. The trick is to keep helpless children innocent.

I don’t know how they got there, but homosexuals are having a profound impact on what children ought to believe in our public schools, pitting them against their parents and siblings. They have hidden their propensity behind nice words like “diversity” and “gay.”

What’s next for Danielle? Public chastisement? Ostracism by her peers, school? Letters to the editor? If I had children in public schools today, I’d pull them out and send them to good private or religious schools that teach morality and the ABCs.

Someone wrote the editor some time ago that Christ would have forgiven the sinner, but neglected to mention that Christ would have ended the dialogue with, “Go and sin no more.”

To use diversity as a ploy to foist the homosexual agenda on children is deplorable. This is “brainwashing,” no less. The real hate comes from proponents for homosexual rights who frown on any criticism and seek to silence those who oppose them by piling onto “captive” children. This feeds my hate. That’s my opinion.
