I am writing this letter because of all the Bush bashing being spewed around as of late.

People should be thanking President Bush and be proud that they are safer than ever before. Every one should be happy that any Democrat wasn’t in office during Sept. 11.

While President Clinton was in office, Osama bin Laden successfully planned an attack on a U.S. embassy. Clinton did nothing. Bin Laden then successfully planned an attack on an Navy ship. Clinton did nothing. After all of this, Osama finally conducts the biggest terrorist act in American history with Sept. 11.

Bush retaliates and shows that innocents will not be killed.

After successfully disbanding most of these organizations, he turned his attention to one of the most dangerous countries of all, because they are harboring terrorists and holding illegal weapons of mass destruction. George Bush is able to oust Saddam Hussein with minimal U.S. casualties.

Anyone who objects to Hussein being thrown out of power, supports brutal dictatorships. Whether or not there are weapons of mass destruction is yet to be seen, but Saddam has gassed his own people and done countless acts of brutality to innocent civilians, and that alone is reason enough to have him thrown out of power.

Next time you hear people bashing the Bush, be thankful that any Democrat wasn’t in office, and think of what they would have done to retaliate, or should I say, wouldn’t have done to retaliate.
