PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Clinton S. Thurlow, Jr., 81, died Nov. 6, at Pinellas Park, Fla., after a long illness.

Born in Buckfield, he was a graduate of Buckfield High School and Bliss College in Lewiston. He had been a resident of Pinellas Park since 1983, when he retired as eastern regional transportation and distribution manager for Armour and Co.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was a member of the Organized Naval Reserve until 1974.

He was a member of the American Legion, the VFW and the Fleet Reserve. For many years he was president of the Armour Retirees Club of Florida.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Margaret; and two sisters, Priscilla Anderson of Buckfield and Flossie Staples of Turner.
