FARMINGTON – A series of concerts will be offered Thursday and Friday, Dec. 4 and 5, in the Bass Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital. The concerts are free and open to the public.

The Franklin Fiddlers will perform jazz and traditional music at noon Thursday, Dec. 4. The Mount Blue Middle School Chorus and Show Choir will perform at noon on Friday, Dec. 5. Those attending may bring a bag lunch to enjoy during either of these performances.

The concerts continue when the Syncopations, a new 16-member all-girls choral group from Mount Blue High School, perform a Festival of Holiday Music at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. This choral group have been selected to play at Carnegie Hall in the 14th Field Studies International National Women’s Honor Choir in March.

Mount Blue Voices continue the Festival of Holiday Music at 7:45 p.m. Friday. Mount Blue Voices is a 15-member group a cappella vocal ensemble from Mount Blue High School. In April, the group will return to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., for the third time to perform as part of Disney’s Magic Music Days.
