A Wilton woman violated her probation and pleaded guilty to current charges.

FARMINGTON – A Wilton woman will spend more than a year in the Franklin County jail for assaulting two boys and furnishing drugs to a 17-year-old boy before having sex with him.

Last February, Carla Neil, 28, served 14 days of a 180-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a minor in 2002. She was put on probation for a year.

Then last May, she was charged with felony unlawful sexual contact with two boys in her Wilton apartment in 2002, Assistant District Attorney Andrew Robinson said. She was not charged with violating probation because the incident happened beforehand.

In late September, however, authorities received an anonymous call that Neil had given alcohol and illegal prescription drugs to a 17-year-old boy in her Wilton apartment and then had sex with him, Robinson said. She was charged with violating probation and has been jailed since.

Last Tuesday in Franklin County Superior Court, Neil pleaded guilty to furnishing prescription drugs to the teen at her home. Justice Nancy Mills sentenced her to four years in jail with all but nine months suspended and four years probation.

In a negotiated agreement, Neil also pleaded guilty to assaulting the boys in 2002, and she got a six-month jail sentence to run concurrently with the nine months.

She also must serve the rest of the 180-day sentence she received last February because she violated her probation.
