LIVERMORE FALLS – Members of the East Livermore-Moose Hill Extension enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner Nov. 13 at the home of Marlene Fortier.
Chairman Gloria Jacques conducted the meeting. Joyce Richard read the creed and the regular collections were accepted.
Lorraine Chretien gave the secretary’s report and Fran Pratt gave the treasurer’s accounts. It was agreed to have the same officers for the coming year.
Planning for 2004 will be done at the next meeting, a potluck meal at the home of Cora Briggs on Thursday, Dec. 11. Members were asked to bring suggestions for next year’s meetings at that time as well as a gift to exchange and donation to the food cupboard.
Jacques reported on a recent county meeting in Lisbon with Fran Berry and Emily Pike of the Livermore group. It was agreed to have a presentation on the Atkins diet in March, the spring tea in May, a craft in June, kick off supper in September and stone soup in November.
