1927 – 2003

LEWISTON – Elsie A. Pierce, 76, of Lisbon passed away peacefully, Dec. 2, at the Central Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Fort Kent, Aug. 12, 1927, a daughter of David and Meddie (Saucier) Pelletier.

In 1979 she married her beloved husband Allen L. Pierce, together they shared over 24 happy years together, until his passing in 2002.

For many years she practiced cosmetology and she had her own hair boutique called “Elsie’s Hair Boutique”

Several years Allen and Elsie wintered down in Pinellas Park, Fla., where they made many dear friends.

She touched many lives with her special friendship and great-sense of humor.

She will be sadly missed by her eight loving children, Jeanne Radziszewski and husband Joseph of Poland Spring, Roger Raymond of Lewiston, Roderick Raymond of Lisbon, Paul Raymond and wife Priscille of Lewiston, Shirley Jordan and husband Al of Poland Spring, Richard Raymond and wife Patrice of Milton, N.H., Ricky Raymond and wife Donna of Westminster, Mass., Bob Raymond of Lewiston; four sisters, Martha Chasse of Connecticut, Rella Pelletier of Madawaska, Lorraine Morin of Lisbon, Anita Ouelette of Stockholm; one brother, Albertie Pelletier of Fort Kent; 15 grandchildren, Joseph, Gregory, Mary, Mark, Crystal, Chad, Christopher, Andrea, Moriah, Joshua, Jason, Jennifer, Jan, Jill, Trisha; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many close friends.
