1940 – 2003

LEWISTON – Anne Marie Fournier, 63 a resident of 340 Oak Hill Road, Litchfield formerly of Lewiston, died early Friday morning, Dec. 5, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, March 8, 1940, the daughter of Lucien and Louise (Pomerleau) Fournier.

She was a life long member of Holy Cross Church, and had a genuine love of life. She was an avid Elvis fan as well as a fan of Patsy Kline, and Jim Nabors which through her following brought her much enjoyment.

The highlight of her life was dancing with “Elvis” at her family’s celebration of her 60th birthday three years ago. She also loved her family very much especially children. She loved taking pictures of people and things. She adored television stars, Michael Landon of “Little House on the Prairie”, and Robert Fuller of “Emergency 51.”

Survivors include five nieces, Linda Derosier and husband, John of Litchfield, Nancy Carver and husband, Greg of Montville, Jacqueline Fournier of Mt. Vernon, Jane Carver and husband, Herb of Lewiston, Jeanne Linehan and husband, Paul of Herman; one nephew, Jim Fournier and wife Joy of North Carolina; and one sister-in-law, Priscilla Fournier of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by one sister, Rita Pelletier Bickford July 12, 1993; two brothers, Robert Fournier June 17, 1990, and Richard Fournier Dec. 23, 1993.
