1938 – 2003
WESTBROOK – Bette R. (Browne) Wilson, 65, died of pancreatic cancer Tuesday, Dec. 2, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in Westbrook Jan. 27, 1938, daughter of the late Walter A. Browne and Ruth R. Browne of Portland. She graduated from Westbrook High School in 1956 and attended SMVTI. She enjoyed reading and music.
She worked at Lady Grace for 19 years and was a member of the first Baptist Church in Westbrook.
She is survived by her mother and a brother, Winston G. Browne of North Carolina; two daughters and four sons, Kristine E. Lozis of Auburn, Angela I. Wilson of Westbrook, Thomas H. Jr. of Panama City, Fla., Richard L. of Houston, Texas, Peter A. of Westbrook and Gregory B. of Bradenton, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren who gave her much joy.
She was predeceased by her father; and one brother, Richard W. Browne of Colorado.
