1935 – 2003

AUBURN – Gerard “Flash” R. Beaudoin Sr., 68, of 48 Sandy Beach Rd., Auburn, died Friday evening, Dec. 5, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility with his family by his side due to complications of a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston on Sept. 2, 1935, the son of Ronaldo and Camilienne Fournier Beaudoin. He had been a resident of this community all of his life.

He was educated in Lewiston schools.

He was employed at Clover Manor for 10 years, retiring due to his illness.

He loved trips to Foxwoods, was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed wrestling, and his family.

He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his commitment to his family.

He is survived by his wife, the former Constance Hesketh, whom he married on July 3, 1970 ,of Auburn; two sons, Gerard “Jerry” R. Beaudoin Jr. and David Beaudoin, both of Auburn; four daughters, Polly Demers and her husband Randy of Auburn, Susan Montminy and her husband Steven of Bowdoin, Jenny Michaud and her husband Ronald of Lisbon Falls, and Lisa Beaudoin of Florida; two brothers, Sonny Beaudoin and his wife Pauline of Lewiston, and Henry Beaudoin and his wife Carol of Auburn; two sisters, Carmen Moreau of Livermore Falls, and Diane Dumont and her husband Leo of Lewiston; seven grandchildren, Scott, Dawna, Jon, Glenn, Kala, Alicia and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Lionel, Robert, Armand and Roland; and one sister, Helen.
