MECHANIC FALLS – Ellsworth F. Trundy, Sr., 64, of 51 Edwards Road, Mechanic Falls, died Saturday, Dec. 6 at his home. He had been a patient at Central Maine Medical Center since June 21.

He was born in Lewiston on Oct. 4, 1940, the son of Forest A. and Alice Hill Trundy. He was a graduate of Mechanic Falls High School. He had been a fork lift mechanic all of his life, working at Marcal Paper Mill, W. D. Matthews, Delekto Brothers and Butch Craig and Sons. He was a member of the Tyrian Lodge #73 in Mechanic Falls.

He married Marilyn Jenkins on Dec. 26, 1993. He and his wife moved to Wilson Mills where he was a Master Guide until his illness brought them back to Mechanic Falls earlier this year.

He is survived by: his wife of Mechanic Falls; two children, Janice and Ellsworth, Jr. both of Mechanic Falls; five stepchildren, David Jenkins and Deanna, Cynthia and husband, Barry Emery, Ken Jenkins and wife, Debbie, Lisa Jenkins and Corey, and Brenda and husband, Jamie Summers; two grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren. He will be missed by his grandson and favorite fishing partner, Jake Pelletier.
