BOOTHBAY – Abby Wentworth scored a game-high 22 points to lead Telstar to a 54-48 win over MVC rival Boothbay in girls’ basketball action Saturday afternoon.

Crystal Gould added 12 points as the Rebels (3-1) notched thei third win of the season.

The Seahawks (4-2) were led by Jessie Monk and Kaitlin Garrett with 14 and 13 points respectivley.

Mt. Abram 59, Lisbon 22

SALEM – Briana Wilkins scored a game-high 14 points and Emily Stinchfield added 13 points as Mt. Abram handed Lisbon a 59-22 loss.

The Roadrunners (5-1) cruised to a34-16 lead at the end of the first half and were never challenged in the second half.

Krystal Doughty led the Greyhounds (0-6) with a team-high 10 points.

Hall-Dale 58, Liv. Falls 52

LIVERMORE FALLS – Chelsey Dionne poured in a game-high 24 points to lead Hall-Dale to a hard fought 58-52 win over Livermore Falls in MVC girls’ basketball action.

Caitlyn Laflin added 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Bulldogs (5-0) remained perfect on the season.

The Andies (1-4) were led by Taryn Flagg with 21 points while Valen Richard added 11 points in the loss.

Jay 40, Mtn. Valley 30

JAY – Freshman point guard Kaylie DeMillo scored 11 points in a balanced attack as Jay cruised to a 40-30 win over Mountain Valley.

Heather Johnson added eight points and eight rebounds for the Tiger (5-1). DeMillo had five assists.

Kristen Arsenault led the Falcons with eight points and notched the only 3-point field goal of the contest.

Dirigo 50, Winthrop 31

DIXFIELD – Alexa Kaubris scored a game-high 14 points to lead Dirigo to a 50-31 victory over Winthrop in MVC girls’ basketball action Saturday.

Kaubris also recorded seven assists and five steals for the Cougars, while Brooke Weston made four field goals, assists and steals. Holly Knight pitched in with five field goals in the winning effort.

Anna Warner had a pair of 3-point field goals and four baskets from the foul line to lead the Ramblers with 10 points in the loss.
