PHILLIPS – People in Phillips will be able to donate blood when the Red Cross bloodmobile visits Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Phillips Community School on Route 4. Blood donors are welcome between 2 and 6 p.m. All types are needed.

“An hour of your time could mean a lifetime to someone you don’t even know,” said Tom Miller, donor recruitment representative.

“In the time it takes a person to watch ER on television, that person could actually be part of saving a real life emergency victim,” he said.

Donors must be at least 17 years of age, in generally good health and must weigh at least 110 pounds.

There is no longer an upper age limit.
