1941 – 2003

GREENWOOD – Florence “Sally” May Melville, 62, of Greenwood, died Dec. 23, at her residence following a long illness.

She was born in Fryeburg on April 18, 1941, the daughter of Herbert and Sabra (Buswell) Kimball. “Sally” was a homemaker most of her life, was dedicated to her family and loved to do picture puzzles and was known in the area for her homemade doughnuts. She had been past president of the Greenwood Fire Dept. Auxiliary and a member for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gary Melville of Greenwood; one son, Jay, two daughters, Donna Melville and Veronica Penley and her husband Brian all of Greenwood; one brother, Edward Kimball of Buckfield; and two grandchildren, Karyn Penley and Jannell Penley both of Greenwood.
